4th annual Dog Day at Douglass Loop posted August 7, 2015 Join us for the 4th annual Dog Day at Douglass Loop Farmers Market - Bardstown Road's only dog friendly market. Special guests include Barkstown Road, No Coast Pets and My Dog Eats First. Sara Beavin, certified pet first aid instructor, will also be on hand to educate pet owners on being prepared for emergencies. There will be a drawing for a giant gift basket to benefit My Dog Eats First and Rocko's Rewards will donate 25% of sales for the day to help them continue their mission of helping the pets of Louisville's homeless population. Dr. Edwina Lemay of A Friend's Farewell will also be there to answer your questions about in home care at the end of your pet's life. The Story of Thor and GynGyn posted June 20, 2014 Rocko said don't be one of those people - the ones who say they will never love again. He said when you are ready I will send you your new dog. On May 28, 2013, Louisville Metro Animal Services picked up two dogs, a mother and her son, who were called in as strays. On June 20th Thor and GynGyn became part of our family. Over the past year we've grown from two very unmannered dogs (and that's putting it mildly) to dogs who are (mostly) well behaved and full of love. Read their story here and see how Rocko knew exactly what he was doing, even though I had my doubts!

Join us for our third year at Douglass Loop Farmers Market posted March 12, 2013 Douglass Loop Farmers Market, the Highlands' only dog friendly farmers market, kicks off the spring season on March 23rd, 2013, featuring over 50 vendors with local goods, produce, meats, food trucks, good music and of course, Rocko's Rewards all natural dog biscuits. Leashed and licensed dogs are welcome at the market. The market is located at 2005 Douglass Boulevard at the intersection of Bardstown Road and Douglass Boulevard - across from Twig and Leaf, under the trees behind PNC Bank. The market is open from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm every Saturday, rain or shine.

They helped us create Rocko's World with our now-famous picture pages, blog and more. We've finally been able to realize our dream of sharing Rocko's life with the rest of the world. Rocko and I had a great life together. After finding him on the side of the road when he was just a year old, we were best friends until I had to let him go at age 18. I started this blog to share what Rocko was doing, now it is a way to preserve our memories of a special life. As much as we love our biscuits, Rocko's Rewards is a tribute to all the furry friends out there and those humans who have been fortunate enough to have the love of an animal touch their lives.
